Default Timing and torque of VQ35DE engine help!!!!!!

Hi all,

Ive been building my engine since a while now, im desperate to get my car back. I went to the nissan dealer and asked them for the specks of the vq35de engine, they did provide it to me and i took it to my mechanic, now he says he needs the torque of the conecting rods can somebody give it to me so i can call him, the dealer is really far from my house and i'm afraid the car i'm driving right now dies on the way to the dealer lol.

Thanks in advance.

Almost every single bit of info available to dealer comes from FSM and the addendum TSB............There are no secret files.
If you download and read the FSM you will see an entire assembly section in the beginning.

Since you are using aftermarket rods "Hi bean Eagle rods" could that be
H beam Eagle Rods you will get the torque specs from rod BOLT manufacturer and select the precise point in the range.

ARP 2006 3/8" bolts are torqued using the bolt stretch method

You do not want somebody putting together a twin turbo'd VQ35 motor that does not even know what the torque spec's are. If he does not even know what the torque spec's are, there are a lot of other things he probably does not know, and all your money will be piisssed away when your motor blows because of some very small, but very important, detail he overlooked.

Do yourself a huge favor and send a flatbet tow truck to get your car from that mechanic NOW. Send it to Japtrix in Riviera Beach, Florida, Performance Factory in Orlando, Florida, or Forged Performance in Marietta, Georgia.

Japtrix is the closest, about an hour away from you. It's owned by two guys, both named Roger, and they are the nicest guys you will ever meet. They know their shiat about VQ35 motors in 350Zs and G35s. Their telephone number is (561) 881-8801. You can probably get your car picked up and dropped off there for $150-$200.

Performance Factory's telephone number is (877) 375-RACE. I have not met them in person, but they also know their shiat and have a great reputation for 350Zs and G35s.

Forged Performance's telephone number is (770) 792-0202, and Sandy and Sharrif also are really, really nice, and again have a stellar repuration for 350Zs and G35s.
