scary sound
I have a 2007 that I bought brand new, currently with 14500 miles
So I had my clutch service recall performed recently after the clutch stuck to the floor and wouldn't come up. I specifically asked the service tech to check the clutch for wear and he told me it was fine, with 80% remaining...
After the service the car drove great (better than ever) for the next 100 miles or so. The shifts felt smooother.
Lately I have noticed a "metal on metal" sound when starting the car or shortly after launch. It sounds like what I always imagined the "cement mixer" sound of aftermarket clutches and flywheels to sound like that people describe (but that I'm not familliar with).
Any ideas what this sound could be? It doesn't sound "healthy"
Thanks!
