Default Did something stupid I think

Was staring the car and wasn't paying attention that my foot was on the gas a little so when the car turned on it shot up to 4000 RPM. Car was warmed up already and is a 5AT. Just wondering if damage could have been done since the car reved so high at start-up.

I wouldn't suggest doing that day in day out on every start. I semi dry rev can hurt over time. Once, twice, probably well over 500 times it will be just fine.
You also said your car was already warmed up, its already got oil flow flow for the day. That makes it even easier on the motor.
