i have an 06 enthusiast. when i press on the cluth a noise "a creeking" starts when i start letting go. anyone else with this problem?
IMO the creaking noise is the clutch assembly "pulling back" from the clutch plate/transmission assembly. It's a normal noise, one that a mechanic can lube up for you if it drives you crazy.
From my experience the noises to worry about is a sound kind of like metal ***** rolling when your clutch is out (in gear) or the engine roaring when you hit the gas but the car lags and/or does not respond that well. That would mean the clutch plate is going out.
Sounds like you're in good shape.
