My Z only stays in the city, 40mph max... gas mileage isn't a big deal to me anyway.

Depends on what you want to do and what kind of driving you do.

Could be just the ticket.

If someone was building an all out NA setup, redlining at bout 8500, this would be a good compliment to it...

Or he could just not mash the pedal to the floor every time...

I am doing the install of these into a new rear I am building soon. That's why they are on the site. Once we confirm fitment, etc., we'll offer them up for sale - should be in the next few weeks if all goes well.

These can only be used with a manual transission differential

As far as 60 mph cruising rpm - right now with my rear tires (285/30/19) I am right around 2500 rpm at 60mph in 6th gear. With 4.3, I will be right under 2700 - hardly a major change

You can figure out where your speeds will end up relative to tire size, redline, etc here: http://www.f-body.org/gears/

Sweet, another option.

I wonder what going from the 3.3fd in my rear with the TT's would feel like with the 4.3's lol

It would feel like a mistake.

Your TT setup has so much inherent torque that the lower gears wouldn't help. They would probably hurt unless you made some other drastic changes to counter the situation.

4.3 would be wild for NA, but probably so short you'd want a "7th" gear for highway use.

I love my 4.08 gears - 3400rpm's @ 80mph. I personally wouldn't want any shorter of a gear ratio than 4.08. My car already sounds like a high-pitched sports bike on the highway~ Lol!
