Default How to change my oil and filter?

Im basically new to the car scene and I need to know how to change my oil and oil filter? In my 350Z of course. Detailed info, steps and even pictures or videos would help me out alot. I figured that changing my own oil and filter would save me more money in the long run!

There IS a search button... Even when I changed the oil the first time, I asked the guy at the autozone what filter my car needed. After answering a few EASY questions he told me which one I needed. Then I asked him how many quarts my car took he said he wasn't sure... they had a Hynes manual there for my car so I took a quick look and found out... If your car is too new and they dont have a book a quick look online would tell you. That is the only thing you should need help with when you change your oil... If you normaly get your oil changed at a shop you know they drain the oil from the bottom... climb under there and look for a plug in the oil pan, if you can't find the drain plug you shouldn't be changing your oil. As far as changing the filter goes you have a brand new one in your hand look for it... take it off..

Ya, there are a few other things you need to do but it all goes back to using the search button.. lets say its to hard to use the search on here... use a google search...

Manual tells you exactly, with and without filter change.

Lets say you dont have a manual in your car! Like the first time I wanted to change my oil in my red 1992 ford escort wagon. I was 17 and the car didnt come with a one in the glove box ... I sure as hell wouldn't go on a fourm known for people getting for not using the search button. It was an easy question to look up " How do I change my oil?"

So you randomly ask how to change your oil on a site that is 6 years old? you don't assume someone has asked that? I mean no disrespect...
