interesting, because when I asked about the LSD today, I was told the exact opposite - that it's designed for cars with factory LSD

It looks like Quaife has 2 difs for the Z/G. QDF11L for the Open Dif, and QDF13L for the VLSD. Is the QDF13L a direct drop in for the VLSD owners? I don't want to spend $500ish for extra parts if I don't need to.

Thanks,

Ian

It's listed on their UK site.

I'll admit its somewhat confusing, we'll get more info and share as soon as we receive it.

spoke to Quaife and they do now have a drop in diff for cars that have VLSD - lead time if ordered now is about 2.5 weeks

still waiting to hear back from OS Giken BTW guys, I'll post with the info I hear. If I had to guess, I would say that like most diffs, it's designed for cars with factory VLSD already, but will know more as soon as they reply - I don't want to add it to our site before knowing 100% for sure what is/is not required

I think your review has sold me on a Cusco RS, Adam. I really need a quality LSD for my car, after 66k I am pretty sure my VLSD is about dead

The Nismo LSD is also a direct drop in for the open diff since it comes with the output shafts. Personally I have the Quaife and love it. Perfect for me since my car spends most of its time on road.
