I did this late last night when I was feeling mobile...

I haddent moved my car for 3 days... It was a cold start (cuz the car hasnt been on for a while so it sounded a little raspyer because things werent warm...)

How did you decide on the nismo exhaust vs. say the Borla TD that everyone is getting ? Just wondering as I may be in the market sometime soon also.

and i went for the nismo exaust mostly because my dealer was giving me **** about putting anything but nismo on it.. and its leased.. this way i can just return it with this exaust if i decide to

by the way... the video was taken after not driving the car for 4 days before i took it to the shop... the car haddent run so you see a couple of puffs of smoke... and the exaust sounds raspy because all the tubing is cold... when it warms up like any exaust it doesnt sound as raspy... but it sure is smoooooove

 

Sure sounds pretty sweet. How much louder than stock would say it is?

 

when you are in the car it isnot that much louder then stock.. but it is more noticible... when in hard exceleration you definatly hear the engine open up... but just cruising its justslightly louder then stock...

I must say, it sounds fu**in beautiful. Just my opinion, it almost sounds better than the Borla, but it could just be because it is a reasonably high quality clear recording.

Once again, AWESOME... How much lighter is it than stock?


I read in several places that Nissan themselves claim ~10HP over stock with this. They wouldnt lie,, now would they

i think its 9pounds lighter...

i definatly feel a gain though thats for sure...

as i said before ill get a vid up of me driving around.. in the car and one out side of the car stationary...

as far as the sound... its definatly nicer then the borla in my opinion... i havent heard one in person... but from borla's ive heard on other cars (any they tend to have that same sound) this is much smoother...
