Talking got replacement TSI ECU today!

Hats off to Technosquare! They have been great to work with and very accessible.

I got a replacement ECU from them today, and this one feels much stronger than my last one. We think they might have put the FI/NOS program on my ecu instead of the NA one, which is why there were no dyno gains.

From the data on my dyno's and lean af ratio, they not only ensured I had the correct program, but also further adjusted my ecu to run a little richer than they normally do.

I don't know when I will get a chance to dyno, but I drove on my little 'test road' that I like to test mods on. I got to a higher speed on the short straight section than I could with the stock and first reprogrammed ecu.

Overall I am happy,
Thanks Danny!

You got what you should have got the first time, you're a good customer. He needs more people like you.

I offered my car but was declined because it was modded with N20 and they didn't offer that. Now they do FI too? Nice...

P.S. If they put the N20 programming one on your non N20 car wouldn't this fubar the A/F? I thought it [THE z] ran leaner with N20?

no, the program they do for N2O/FI only raises the rev limiter and top speed limiter, it doesnt adjust fuel or timing at all, thats why my before after dynos were basically identical.

I think they might reduce the learning feedback in the n2o/fi program too, but I don't know much about it, nor do I know how they price that programming. Just discussing my particular experience and results. For me, they did custom programming at no additional charge.

so if you "first" reflash DIDNT change your a/f, or your timing, and left it stock.......why were you getting pining????? customer support sounds AWSOME, but it sounds like your first flash changed more than you think!

I have never had pinging. My air/fuel ratio, from the dyno, has always been between 14.5 and 14.7:1 at WOT, on my 1st baseline stock, and through every mod that I have made.

They tried to bring it down a little more on the second reflash.
