dual intake on 05 Z??

Default dual intake on 05 Z??

i want to know if its possible to install a dual intake off an 08 Z onto a 05 Z? if so what problems might u run into and the effects it might have? couldnt find anything on any other threads, if there is one could u please direct me to the right location.

you mean just take the intake manifold off an 08 and slap it on an 05? They are completely different. You would need to fab something up custom to make a dual intake for an 05.

I wonder if it would really be that hard?

You could eliminate the MAF sensors and use a Haltech to control the engine. You'd probably need to change the entire plenum out for one that would support the dual inlets, but I'll bet it would still bolt on to the intake manifold.

Might be cheaper than a Cosworth... might make more power, too...

I would begin with two throttle bodies. Then go from there.
