Should fit right in. You may need some minor parts, like bearings and seals.

actually not true - it fits, but you have to modify the clips for the rear axles.

I don't thin you'll see a Quaife anytime soon - demand just is not there till there are more Z33's racing....

The Cusco ones are clutch types, but I have never had an issue with one going bad, and needed no more maintenance than a Torsen style.

Looking at the service manuel, I can't come up with what your saying. Are you thinking that someone would be swapping out the whole entire rear final drive assembly and not just the viscious unit itself being installed inside the diff?

When Daytona installed his Kaaz in his car, the base model without factory LSD the shop found out they had to add these parts, and nothing else from what I was told, (Nissan part numbers btw)
2 Oil Seals: (38342-P9010)
2 Differential Bearings: (38440-0C000)

If your not talking about a whole final drive swap, could you please explain in detail what your talking about? I'm about to either have my local dealer or Jeff at Performance Nissan do the swap, as I have a stock viscious diff part to convert my sedan to limited slip. Refering to the factory service manuel would also work. It would of course be section RFD and removing the axles is covered in RAX, page 10

I just found this from Daytona's original post after getting his Kaaz installed, it's on topic to the above post of mine.

Well folks,

The KAAZ LSD is on!! I had the great guys at SPI Power Excel do the install. It took a lot longer than expected because apparently the differential housings for Zs with and Zs without LSD are different. So they needed to order two new bearings and seals for an LSD-equipped Z to get the Kaaz unit to fit.
