I'm having the same problem...took my car in (06 base coupe MT) to the nearest dealership to have the clutch/flywheel replaced and now the car won't start...
Could it be a bad flywheel? they're putting a new one in to try and figure it out...The engine cranks over but won't start...
Any thoughts?

same issue more than likely ^
the flywheel isn't bad...it can only be installed 1 way. There are ring gears that are either pressed on, or part of the flywheel itself that the crank sensor reads. If the sensor is damaged during install (common) or not connected (common) the car will never start again, it will just crank and crank

You can narrow it down by checking what you don't have. SPARK or FUEL. Then see if it is the Crank Sensor or the Cam Sensor which one or the other controls and go from there. Most likely you have no spark and it is the crank sensor giving you an issue.
About $70 bucks new.

you can also jack up the car and take the crank sensor out and have shine a flashlight in the crank sensor hole. have someone turn over the car and see if the flywheel looks like it woobles a little. if it does then they didn't line the dowel pin up as stated above. but it will look like it is wobbling or lopsided.

Thank God it was still under warranty...phew! I'll miss her for the next week but I'm actually looking forward to a whole new drivetrain...
I hope it's not the case with yours...good luck!

so you're car went to the dealer needing a new clutch and left (or tried to) needing a new engine? And you're actually letting that dealer do the work? I wouldn't let them vacuum my floor mats at that point. What happened between point A and B that a new engine is necessitated
