Unfortunately, there are no simple aftermarket options at this point for manual transmission.
For drag racing, we have adapter plates and flywheels to use TH400's and Powerglides, capable of holding 1000+whp with ease when properly built.

A new OEM transmission is really your only option though.

there really is nothing significant that can be done to strengthen the stock gears, which is why you don't see aftermarket upgrades except for motorsports level stuff (they are out there, but very, very, very expensive). The stock stuff is quite beefy, and stack up well to the strongest factory transmissions out there. As far as the synchros go, you could upgrade to the newest ones, which differ slightly.

When OS Giken was at our place a few weeks ago, there was some preliminary discussions about maybe offering different gear ratios, but nothing had been set in stone as of yet, it was just an idea they were considering

expensive as in not much change left from $30k

Yes, the RS uses the same transmission - the RSC does not

yes they are factory Nissan parts, but you will need to coordinate with a dealership as to whether or not they can be swapped to "older" sleeves - I
ve been lucky in that my 04 has never had a transmission issue, so I've never had a reason to research it

I've never seen any evidence of this being true, or even heard such a thing
