Just wondering who's done this already since this fluid runs hot and there isn't any cooling for it at all.

More to the point, who has switched over to synthetic gear lube? I'm hoping that it will provide some additional protection without having to go with a full tranny cooler.

I switched to synthetic gear lube and every time I pop open the rear diff and the tranny I am amazed at how much the gears are less worn. It is amazing. Seriously, how many people are going to know about long term wear on a car that has barely existed for one year?

We are going to be finishing up a prototype oil cooler kit shortly. Concentrating on the brake duct kit stuff first, but we have auto-cad designed, laser cut and zinc plated brackets, Mocal cooler, and all the other parts needed to do the cooler kit. Now it will just need to have the braided steel line routes finalized, and a production run will begin. Look for price to be somewhere around $800, complete.
