Default My E-brake light is on when it shouldn't be

The title states it all. Does anyone know how to fix this? I know my E-brake is down but the light is still on.. sometimes.

-The E-brake light is on when its supposed to be
-The E-brake light sometimes turns off when I am slowing down and using my brakes
- The light comes back on when I accelerate

Any insight?

Im at work right now but im thinking about resetting my ECU when I get home to see if that fixes the problem.

I'm replacing my pads next week, I guess I could do that as well at the same time.
