So just wondering how much hp can your drivetrain take before you need to swap or upgrade.

this is a very multi-faceted question. Do you mean how much HP can be applied to a 350Z drive train without reducing drive train life? Probably very little. All increases in stress reduce life. With aftermarket stuff, it just seems like people rely on asking other people how much HP they have added and how long they have driven their cars, not many people CAD up every part in their drive train and run simulations (although some of the mech engineers might ) to see how much stress a particular component can take.

Im thinking most people would only want about 350 to 400 hp with about 300 some tq. Im sure the stock drivetrain can handle it i think since the procharger boys are putting out some impressive numbers!

I think that we are going to find out soon with the number of people that have boosted their cars with the Procharger. There was another post just recently that really sounds like the guy blew a head gasket on his Procharged car shortly after he got it.

so far so good.

Injen intake'
Injen Exhaust
Nismo Header
UR Pulleys, Flywheel and Clutch
Plue 225 Shot of NOS stage one and a 75 Shot Stage Two

add it up and it's around 320 motor and 300 NOS.. the drivetrain has held up well with over 50 1/4 mile runs to date.

but it;s a quarter mile at a time

If the trannies in 240SX's (with the KA24DE) can hold 412rwhp then I think the Z tranny can also. It's not hp you have to worry about though, it's torque. Trannies are rated in how much torque they can handle before they chuck a tooth or break somehow. Oh, the 412hp number is just how much rwhp a friend of mine made with a stock 240 tranny and a KA-T
