All you really need for what? For FI, above 400 wtq, I would highly recommend GTM's stage 3 built 5AT. Upgraded bands, clutch packs, machined for cooling, etc. (the stage 3 includes the VB and TC upgrades).

The carbonetics LSD can handle the power but is not necessary. It is amazing on corners for rear wheel grip and I feel it is the best performing LSD available with 100% lock up all the time with no chatter or noise. You need to drain and fill the fluid though every 2k miles though to comply with the service schedule. It takes me an hour with no lift - it takes a tech at Forged 10 mins. I watched him - lol. YMMV. You can go longer without a fluid change, but apparently there is a propensity to develop gear whine from all the carbon material floating around eating away. If you want maintenance free operation, the Quaife is the way to go though it has a few disadvantages to the carbonetics (namely if one wheel loses all/nearly all traction, the Quaife doesn't help you grip). In retrospect, with the little amount of track time I see, I should've gotten the Quaife, but finding the rear diff parts to match my rear end was problematic. Good luck.
speak for yourself. i'm glad mine is not the trouble plagued 6MT
+1.
I had 03 6MT with nothing but troubles(synchro, grinding, clutch engagement etc.)... I'm not saying all Z/G's 6MT are troublesome but I had bad luck and experience with my 6MT before switch to 5AT which I currently own... anyway, another happy 5AT owner here

Yep, ill be here
its gonna be fun working on your car
how about going for some internal parts so we can hit 500whp
if u just wana install the turbos, it only gonna take a week or 2
Alright, so i hopped in the z this moring after its been parked all week (beater ftw) and took off to work.
Ran fine at first, but felt like it was losing power.
The further i went the worse it got.
Soon enough, about a mile down the road, it would just constantly slip, limiting me to about 20mph, no matter how high I revved or what gear i tried to put it in in the manumatic mode
I plan on bringing it to a shop this morning, but wondering if anyone encountered similar problems
