Man you need to chill out a bit as you seem to react in your posts that we are all attacking you......which is not the case. One thing i would not do is to go on my350z with the attitude you show on this forum as they would kill you.......take a chill pill as most of us here try and help everyone out but dont see the need to post what we paid for the service we got.

two posts above ^^^ you aren’t only one that plans a DIY for the transgo... I personally know a G coupe owner that is too... but you might be one the people I've read that plans to though.

As for "any transmission shop can do it"... whether they "can" or not, I won’t debate - however, I havent found any near me that "will".

I recall someone else posting a DIY guide. It sounded like a PITA - not hard, just tedious (and that was just for removing the VB, shipping it away, and reinstalling the modified one as I recall). Actually modifying it requires drilling. And what happens if something's not right when you're done? Not worth the hassle for me (just my opinion though). Good luck to you.

Yeah, you do have to drill out where it tells you to. But it comes with the presized drill bits for you with a diagram that tells you what bit is used where. I would actually like to do a detailed pictorial and have a a legitimate transgo dealer sponsor my DIY and give everyone a better price on the kits. I wonder if I can do bartering where I do the labor of installing a transgo kit for people and get something equal in value in return like tires and racing seats and a good wife!
