Sprint Booster Throttle Enhancer, Looking for Testers
I had one of these installed last spring and my ZR has APS twins.
It definitely made the throttle more sensitive and I had to make adjustments to how I launched. It felt very responsive when I took it out on the hwy but I'm on the fence for launching with FI.

It is aggressive with twins. We've played with it here on a couple of cars and found that out. Out of curiosity is your car a 6MT or an auto? I've been told that using the auto module on a 6MT car makes it less of an issue on a F/I car.
It was sometimes difficult to ease away from a traffic light without attracting attention.
I have Cipher, will data log & post results... also run 1/4 mile, but not sure how soon I will be back to the track (more than likely within a month though)...
PM info if you are interested in me posting results.

VW/Audi's have a poor eletronic throttle control system that is already very slow responding to input. It is some of the big complaints people have on those cars. The Nissan's responds very fast compared to them, and personally you might not notice it as much as you would on one of those brands with this item installed. But it is definitely a good idea!
Sorry to those that PM'd for info - I wasn’t clear in my original post.

The exact same can be reproduced by just pushing the gas pedal down farther and is free. These units do have merit however as on cars like the VW/Audi where they have very slow throttle response (my old Jetta VR6 was terrible) they totally fix this problem. My jetta was so bad I could press the throttle all the way to the floor and let off quickly and the car wouldn't do anything at all because the throttle response was so slow. Obviously this isn't the case with a 350z because they have sharp throttle response stock. So the value of this unit is kind of lost on Nissan because they don't suffer from the same problems as many of the European made cars.
These items are kind of snake oil now as previously they were marketed with deceptive tactics, the Venom 400 Performance Throttle Module comes to mind. They said it increases HP etc and eventually found to only increase the how much throttle the ECU saw during part throttle operation. Eventually the marketing material was all changed because they were basically caught manipulating the truth.

A. Well, when the computer sees these "modified" signals it will provide a different set of fuel and ignition maps than it would normally provide. These maps tell the computer what the spark timing and fuel injection pulse (fuel) should be for any given engine operating condition, like under load, part throttle or deceleration. The Venom makes the computer use different maps that are more aggressive and provide better performance.

Please don't misinterpret my post as me bashing the product, I am not. There are many cars they do work very well on, lots of VW/Audi guys swear by these and rightly so. I would have loved one on my jetta...

I actually had my throttle curve reduced for the twins...I like having more resolution at lower throttle positions (e.g. 0-50% pedal position = 0-30% throttle position). I imagine increasing the curves would only make twins more difficult to modulate (and possible dangerous), especially with quick spoolers. However for N/A it might be fun.
