Guy in ZROC has cams, plenum, PopCharger, headers, exhaust and maybe a couple of other small things and pulled around 285 on a Mustang Dyno. Since all dynos seem to give different results, seems they can only be used for comparison purposes, both before and after on your car or to compare 2 cars the same day, same conditions. Check out these dyno results if you really want to see some low numbers:

there is no way you are making that to the wheels i just want you to know that now. i had an 04.5 with full exhaust intake and plenum and make 261 wheel. try a different dyno they messed up somewhere

Yeah, that's what I thought. Seems a really high drivetrain loss compared to what I see on other dynos, for sure! That is why random dyno charts don't impress me all that much - when ZROC had a dyno day and all the cars were run on the same machine/same afternoon, now that is good for at least comparison. Unfortunately, I could not run mine as I had a bad coil pack at the time and was running (as it turned out) on 5 cylinders. Most of the medium modded 350's were in the 255-260 range. that 285 was the exception, and Nate has his supercharger ordered - can't wait to see what that buys him.

it depends how that Dynapac is setup to run and how the Dynojet is setup to run
want to know how you compare to a stock 03 Z....put one on the same dyno and then you'll know. Or, if people are running on Dynojets near you, run on one of the dyno's they use and then you'll have a more meaningful comparison

yep, there is really is no "in general" when it comes down to it. The only really meaningful comparison is how your car did vs another Z on that day/dyno. Trying to draw correlations between your run and how it might do on another dyno is a waste

Load based dynapacks are perfect for fuel tuning because you can simulate more road conditions than a dynojet....which is just a drum you spin...cant really load up the motor
One problem is dynos are really just a tool for tuning and most folks want to use them as measuring sticks against other dynos...as others have said...against locals you can compare your result on the same days/conditions but with some guys operating dynos use them to inflate the numbers (loading up a turbo motor to stroke egos/numbers)
Figure a properly operating dynopac should always read HIGER than a properly setup dynojet....the mounted wheels add drag/roational mass to the hubs and power is sapped thus a lower reading
How big the margin is varies by dyno but apples to apples a dynojet will show a 12-15% power difference from crank to whp whereas the dynapak should be 7-10%...again...varies by dyno setup but from what I have seen ....wheel choice severly effects the numbers with some guys rolling large heavy chromes vs smaller lightweight slicks....
My basline was 267.8 at 300 crank...which is pretty close to 10%...with some small mods I bumped peak to 280...on a dynojet I would expect maybe 260-265 or so....mostly because I have a 19X10 wheel package with 285's...not exactly the lightest wheel setup...
I have used dynojets in the past and they are great for setting your WOT fuel...for real tuning the dynapak is pretty much the standard....if you look at the shops in Japan youll see a ton of dynapaks....replicate results with focus on what the partsdo without worrying about the wheel/tire/drag variables
Luckily there are a ton of local Z owners who I can compare my results with so I dont have to "guess" how my car stacks up with others at near stock levels
Just try to use the same dyno to compare your individual results before and after mods...
