N/A Horsepower reality check

Dyno numbers don't really mean a whole lot....there are any number of ways to put in corrections, calibrations, etc. I would be very surprised if you had a de and made more than 290 (sae on a dynojet). I haven't seen anyone do it on stock cams. My car traps 106.....trap speed in the 1/4 is really the best way to gauge power in relation to other cars (though obviously there are variables in that too).

When you spend $25,000 -$100,000 installing a dyno you must EARN a $1,000 to $5,000 per month just to make bank payment. Double triple that to pay all the TRUE cost associated with it taking up space and paying operators, repairs, insurance, mainteanance, etc.
People quickly learn that they must do what it takes to bring in users, make users happy, and hopefully their happiness brings in more paying users and the Dyno doesn't get repo-ed.

ztouring, question for you. Is your last name torres? I was just at japtrix and they tuned my car to 278. They compared our numbers and you match me at the top of the curve. Just wondering. let me know
