It seems that my cam sprockets are starting to wear our (tick tick noise from the valvetrain). I need to have them replaced.

What options do I have and at what prices and where?
Tried to search... OEM from courtesynissan cost around $700 for both

Any ideas/help/recommendations?

I don't know if it is because of the heat out here or something else...

Really weird and I am sure the ticking is in the valvetrain...

 

Ouch on the price... I am planning to keep the Z's engine stock, don't wanna modify it. I just need OEM parts

 

Are they really worn out? I have a set of 4 with 25k miles on it. Let me know. 100 bucks for all 4. I even hav ethe chains.

 

Well I researched this forum for "tick tick / ticking valvetrain" and ended up with the cam sprockets/chain cause.

Why did you change yours? And are you sure they are not damaged? Do not cause valvetrain ticking I mean?
