That would be the valves trying to pop out of your hood.

I'm going to try to translate into English. When you redline your car is spits and sputters. Yes? It's called a fuel cutoff. It's to keep you from blowing up your engine.

So...you don't hear engine sounds at redline? I'm lost...I don't know man, I thought you were asking what happend if you passed redline.

Well...maybe your exhaust is louder than engine at redline? Humm interesting, maybe you should take a video for us.

i think your best bet would be to put the car in neutral and push the gas all the way down. then hold it there until you hear a bang

LMFAO HAHAHA I understand what he talking about!!!! He's referring to "VTEC" LMAO...OP, I think I know how to solve your problem spray paint your engine cover red and with a sharpie write "VTEC"...oh and before I forget get a DOHC decal and put it on the side of your car, 5-whp without a tune.
