Default 07 Auto transmission acting weird or normal ??

I've Had my 07 for a couple months now and put over 4,000 miles on it (7300 total)

I got in it coming home from work today .. pulled out of work and onto the interstate .. traffic was slow ..probably 45mph for the first mile

anyways .. it seemed to be acting weird when I was just cruising / rolling in traffic at 40mph .. as if it was shifting into nuetral and the rpm's just drop to idle speed until I got back on the gas and then I get a small jerk and start accellerating

is this normal or was it just acting up b/c it stopped halfway home ??

Sounds like it went into high gear to cruise until you stepped on the pedal. Sounds ok to me.

yea .. probably what it did ..

guess it was just me paying to much attention to the gauges and stuff .. figured out it does it if you let off the gas below 40mph .. but after 40mph the rpm's kinda hang so you dont get that little jerk when you get back on the gas ..

anyways all is good

been driving manual cars ever since I got my driving permit, guess I'm still getting used to the way auto's work

turned the traction control off today on the way out of another body shop I work at on the side some times .. its on a back road and stomped it a little .. was surprised when the back stepped out a little like my camaro does and took off .. didnt think a auto would do it in stock form (without the shifting of course )
