im lookin to buy a new engine to possibly build on to swap out with my high mileage sunce im fi and this one is gonna go anytime now. does this discription sound ok.. the starter crack part i know nothing about this area is he right will this not affect anything..if it is it easy to fix/replace?

"For auction 2006 Nissan 350Z Infinity G35 long block. Block is in very good condition. With one minor problem, it has a small crack just above the starter as shown in picture number four, this will not affect the performance of the engine and anyway. It is not near any water jackets. And will not structurally affect the motor. The engine was replaced by Nissan, because the starter locked up and broke in the bell housing of the transmission causing this stress crack. So it was replaced by Nissan under warranty. Engine ran perfectly and has no internal problems. I removed the valve cover so you can see that the engine was very well maintained, Cover has been replaced after pictures were taken, sorry this is not the high rev engine. The engine has 41,000 miles. And will make a great replacement motor for someone who has a high mileage engine or one that is just tired from abuse. Here you chance to pick up this engine at a very reasonable price. This will be local pickup or you supply your own shipper. I have sold these engines before if you check my feedback. Roadway seems to work the best for me, but I will work with any shipper that you decide to use. Thank you for looking"
