Default gear oil

has anyone changed their shifting/gear oil? (i'm not sure if it's an actual oil, but noticed on my friends eclipse, after changing it it shifted much much better)..

if so, have you noticed a smoother shift? also what brand did you use? thanks

Do a search, man. MANY people have changed gear oil including me. I did a big write up on it that you would have found by searching. I have no problems with the questions, but the forums, ALL of the them, are getting very cluttered with redundancy and pointless threads. It just makes it hard to navigate to the good and informational threads and people will start going to other forums. Then all the people that can provide great info will be gone. That is not a good thing. Use secondary information (already established) before you use primary research (unchartered territory). 9 times out of 10 you will find your answers five times in the search results. Not just for gear oil, but everybody for every subject. Thanks!
