Default Just installed JWT clutch/flywheel and i need your help

ok so the question that i have is that the CZP chromolly pivot ball that was sent to me in the package deal was WAY shorter than the stock one:

when everything is installed you can't even engage the clutch since there is a BUNCH of play under inside the tranny....now the package on the pivot ball said it should be the correct part?? any ideas??

Bingo, you said you have an 03 right?? looks like you needed the longer one:

This Pivot ball only works in the 2004-2006 Transmission. So if you have a 2003 Nissan 350z with the original transmission you will need the longer pivot ball found Here

they are checking the order to see if it was on their side or mine, which i know i said 03 so we'll see...i went ahead and put the stock one back in since i'm sure it'll hold and if it does break then i'll get them to ship the correct one for free to me

Yes there are 2 different pivot ***** (obviously)
The easy way to tell which one you need is look at the Clutch fork on the side of the trans were your Slave pushes it.
If you have the Cast Iron looking fork it takes the short pivot ball, If you have the stamped steel fork it takes the longer pivot ball.

one more question for you experts...

i knew that i'd get extra chatter from the ligher flywheel, which doesn't bother me...but after just passing the 100 mile mark of breaking it in, i have been getting a chirping noise from underneath. now i have been babying the break in with basic DD and not going past 3k revs and i was curious to know if this was extra noise from the flywheel/clutch settling in together or if something is coming loose? if anyone else has dealt with this in the past let me know what the cause was or if it's just part of the JWT break in

edit: i forgot to mention it only does this noise while idling and the clutch is not touched...but once i press the clutch in, the noise goes away

Mine chatters or more of a knock when off the clutch, which was expected but no chirping. Also I didn't opt for the JWT clutch, just the Flywheel.

well i definitely get the chatter, which isn't a problem, it's just the chirping sound started just after 100 miles...i'll keep driving it and see if it progresses or dissipates and fill you guys in
