If the TCM is integrated into the valve body it will not work. They changed mid year 04 (from separate TCM in the passenger side footwell, to an integrated TCM inside the VB). I think you'd have to update the ECM also if you wanted to use a new version of the TCM (and do some rewiring or get a new harness also).

Something happen to your tranny? You might have to either jack up the car and look for a number or see if you have the TCM in your footwell.

MIne is an 03 with the TCM in the footwell . I'll have to ask the guy that has the 04 tranny .

Jeff
I have a VB upgrade / Higher stall trq converter , and really dont like it any more . I no longer have the blower on the car and would rather have a smooth tranny

Then I think you're going to be stuck searching for another 03. I believe they changed all the trannys to the internal TCM type. But check the model numbers anyway.

Like rcdash said ....they changed mid year......early model 04 will work . The question is , how can one tell by looking at the tranny it self .
