I've seen stock axles break on NA G/Z at the strip, and I've seen the same axles on FI G/Z hold fine. It all depends on how well you can drive, not how much WHP.

I broke mine with 400whp and drag radials at the strip. Wheel hop will kill them fast at the strip even on street tires. Some guys run 600whp and claim no problems depending on how you launch the car!
