I have a 2005 Z in auto/tiptronic, it makes a grating noise when I hit 2200rpm. Initially, it only happened very rarely, but now it's everytime I get to that rpm and only then. I'm going to bring it to the mechanic soon but wanted to get some info from you guys before I get charged for some bogus repair that won't fix it. Thanks.
