I have a 05 roadster but the problem that I am having with it is sometimes when I put it into reverse there is this one weird sound. The sound sounds like when you are on a hill facing upward, and you put it into reverse that sound. I also noticed today that when I was putting it into reverse it rev up a little. I also hear the sound whenever going over dip and big bump. I am not sure if its my transmission mounting or what? I went under the car to see if its my shocks, but they seem to be fine. Thanks

 

There's a sound for when you're on a hill in reverse?

 

No the sound is not coming when I am reversing. I can only hear it sometimes when I put it into reverse by the way I have an a/t. I was just trying to describe the sound when you put it into reverse on a hill. lol That's what the sound sounds like an a/t that is on the hill, and you put it into reverse; it make that one weird sound. That's exactly what I was thinking. Sounded strange to me too...

 

Hey guys, its not a clicking sound but more like a clutching sound when you put it into reverse. Hope this help

 

automatic? if so .. do you put up the handbrake when you park?
