Default Venom 400 Chip

Does anyone know anything about this chip? Would it be worth buying or should I stay away from ECU upgrades?

Well I was just reading up on the Uprev.. From what I know, you can buy software and a cable for your OBDII port and re flash with programs that are sent by email from Osiris.. If this is true, why would I have to get it tuned? Also, people are claiming that you can store multiple maps and switch through them with your cruise control switch... How would that work?

first what you wanna do is go to a reputed tuner who's registered with uprev, you can find this out on uprev website.
Then your tuner will Dyno the car to see what your sitting at and get a baseline WHP.
once thats done he can make the nessasry adjustment thru the reflash.
you will store multiple maps via your cruise control. for me
map 1 "aggressive tune@93octane"
map 2 Stock
map 3 valet. engine will not rev past 3000rpms

I like the sounds of that, especially Map #3!! Do you lose cruise control after this mod has been done??

Map #3 would probably be the least fun out of all of those.

no cruise control remains the same.
but when switching maps you hold the top button down and press the bottom button once for map 1. your lil green "set" button will blink once to indicate map 1. the same thing goes for the other maps, you just hit the button twice or three times. The "cruise control set" will blink accordingly.

Valet map is so some a$$hole valet can't rev it or take or try to show off while moving cars. Venom 400 Chip-nissan-350z-design-11.jpg

lol i would say valet map is freaken fun! i put it to that setting one time to show a friend and it feels so weird to not go some were when you get it into gear lol. i went forward almost into the steering wheel. you know how your stomach muscles get tense so you can handle the acceleration.
