You would be better off getting it custom made. Why don't you just buy a PowerLab kit? What are you trying to do differently that you can't do with that kit?

As flame worthy as it sounds. I just wanted to be able to outfit everything to my own specs. Turbo of choice bov waste gate ect ecu managment intercooler ect I'm sure they could take care of it plus there setup would prob end up being more reliable than mine but I really want the experience of just doing everything myself with some help of course but I'm mainly after the experience

I think you will have better luck buying your own straights, bends, etc. out of a parts catalog and then taking them to a local welder, then you will trying to obtain just piping from one of the already established turbo kit manufacturers. It will probably end up being cheaper in the long run as it usually ends up being more expensive attempting to "bastardize" another product.

Good luck with that. The time and labor involved in fitin the piping will cost you more than a new, already made kit. Now, if you can weld and fabricate things yourself you will save a few $$$$.

These engine bays are very tight.

Based on the type of questions you are asking I think it would be in your best interest to purchase an off the shelf kit in its entirety. If you so choose to experiment with altering it down the road that would be your prerogative.

True true I can't hide the fact I'm still fairly new to Fi although iv been snooping around the fi section I was having a friend help me who Is a fabercator for a metal shop and does have alot more technical experience on fi Im mainly just trying to advance my own personal knowlege on the matter so 1. I wouldn't get ripped off 2. I can contribute to the building process 3. Knowledge of knowledges sake one day hoping to become an fi guru but u gotta start somewhere 4. I know this goes against what I was orginally applying by using parts from a kit but I also wanted something more orginal as well.

If you want the experience; buy a kit (i.e. Powerlab), and do a DIY install. Baby steps my friend.

100% agree.

Based on the OP's other post's, etc, it wouldn't be worth the hassle to try and put together his own kit.

You can buy the piping from the different turbo kit companies. Just buy from one of the companies in the states rather than Greddy, or HKS and just call them and order the parts you want. I had ordered a few differnt indivual pieces for my Turbonetics kit. Just called and asked for them. I believe you can even go on their website and order individual pieces. I'm sure if you call Sam over at GTM and ask for just the piping he will sell you that. If you really want just piping I'd go with an American made turbo kit and just contact the company.

Or what you could do. Start looking in the classified section and buy someone's used turbo kit and just hang onto the piping. The piping doesn't really go bad. Then just sell the turbo and wastegate and BOV if you dont want them. An option at least.

One of the bigger reason to that I didn't mention for this as well is that it would be easier for me to buy individual parts and build that way then buying a complete kit
