Default Buying and Replacing 03 Transmission

I recently roasted 1st and 2nd gear in my 2003 350z.. Now that ive got my money saved im about to buy the replacement transmission.. There is a 2004 350z tranny on a website that looks like its in good condition , and the seller says its perfect with 40k.. Should i ask him which production model it is? or should i be looking for my tranny numbers to match.. I believe they put the latest model in when they replaced my tranny for grinding at 20k about 2 years ago.. im just a little cloudy here and i dont want to purchase a bad tranny.. l plan on doing the swap on my back with a buddy in my drive way.. Am i going to need anything to make the 2004 tranny compatible? Is there any difference between the 2004 tranny? Better? Also how hard would it be to install a new clutch once ive got my tranny out of the way? please any information and input is greatly appreciated. Ill get the number off my transmission tomorrow morning. Thanks.

Cd009 is the trans you want. Came in late 2006+. It came with hardened synchros and is a lot stronger then the 03-05 trans.
