Driveshaft/Axle Bolt Replacements???
Just wondering if you guys replaced your driveshaft and axle bolts.
I looked in the FSM, and it stated to replace them every time.
Just wondering of you guys replaced the bolts or not and/or if it's safe to drive around until Nissan can order a set.

There's a lot of stuff in the FSM that indicates you should replace instead of reuse. Even the Nissan techs don't follow that guideline. You certainly want to do it for things like crush washers, gaskets, O-rings; you're not likely to have problems by not replacing those bolts.

^ I agree.....
I have had my drive shaft off multiple times due to LSD install, subframe solid bushing install, etc....etc........ I track my car frequently, but i dont daily drive it, but i just naturally check those bolts along with many others randomly the week before an event type thing...
So i say tighten them up, drive it around and a day or two later, jack the car back up and check that they are tight again..........follow whatever torque spec is given and you'll be fine......

I track my car and have never replaced those bolts. My diff originally came out at 40k 3.5 years ago. I now have 114k and many track events, still going strong.
PS, i'm on the same crush washer as the car came with, NO PROBLEMS.
