Aftermarket Oil Pressure Sensor position
i want to add an extra oil pressure sensor behind my arc oil cooler (just to make sure everything works fine
). i have a greddy informeter and want to use the available sensor, but i´m not sure how the position of it should be.

this is a quick reference of what the sensor looks like.
my question now is should it be mounted as shown on the pic or just upside down??? or is it equal

XM 1: I do not think it matters how you position your sensor. As citymunky posted, I used the Greddy sandwich plate to mount my STRI oil: temp & pres. sensors. As you stated though you have an ARC oil cooler, if that uses a sandwich plate already I do not know if you can add another one onto that (for a total of 2 sandwich plates). I was also thinking of adding an oil cooler but can into this same problem. I was thinking of tapping my oil block for the sensors.
Lets see some more replies!!!

I use a Greddy adapter for temp and pressure sensor ports and a Mocal for the oil cooler. Try to fit the sensor BEFORE installing. I think I had to tap for NPT threads (come with BSP).
