Just a side note on swaps (if any) that use the factory 350z alternator, you must plug in the voltage regulator on your alternator or it will only put out 10-11 volts. I just jumped mine from the main positive post on the alternator to pin #4 on the side of the alternator.

Weighed the car tonight! Weighes in at a whopping 2,871lbs without me in it! This is with 10 quarts of trans fluid, 6 quarts of oil and 12 gallons of fuel in the car. The thing should absolutely fly if I can get traction.

Still open for more sponsors!

Yup! I could easily get the car under 2,800lbs if I bought some light weight brakes and wheels. Maybe this winter I will even switch all the fuel line over to the nylon braided hose and remove the stock Z ABS module to get some more weight out.

No I don't get a chance. I know that the curb weight of the Z is 3,188lbs stock though.

I think that's only the base model and only the earlier models.

Season racing and some car shows here and there. Not really a big show guy but a lot of people seem to like the car.

It didn't go well so far. I am either having problems with the tuning because of the slow flame front with E85 or I am having some weird timing issues. Going to spend some time doing some more research and then head back to the dyno. I may end up switching to 105 ocatane gasoline that a local gas station sells.

Sorry to hear that, please keep us posted. Maybe try and check in with Vas, he is running an E85 tune.

I really like this look and think I might do the same.. Did you just use one of the gauge mounting bracket pedestal to mount up?

Come on T... You know me...

It is a custom mount that I cut myself out of billet aluminum. It is very light weight and installed perfectly!
