35K Boosted before it gave up. Help guys?
No Chris it had nothing to do with detonation or the tune. Actually i was able to pin point and figure everything out. The rod bent on my last race with luis when i stump on it at prob 3k rpm or less in fifth gear pretty stupid, i know. It put to much stress on the rods that can't support the load, so it bent. If it was do to detonation there would be pitting on the piston or other sings of it. there wasn't any meaning that wasn't the cause. 12.5 is optimal for power although not recommended on our cars do to cylinder temp. Don't worry the beast will be coming out soon.. lol...
So, late last night after class I opened up my single turbo G35 (against an LS2 GTO…) and after about 3 pulls I pulled off the highway to get gas, just out of curiosity I opened the bonnet and was greeted with a rather loud ticking sound I immediately thought of your video and felt a little panicked…
I listened to it again and I think it’s just valvetrain noise.

It's really hard to tell by the video. It's definitely not good though, especially in our cars that are extremely expensive. Sorry to hear this.. Hopefully some of the more experience guys here can help..
Yeah, video sucks but I don’t know…the car’s actually been driving fine though, drove about 150 miles over the weekend and its running great.
About the injectors… I’m running Deatschwerks 600cc’s too, I’ve heard a few people comment on how loud they were before.

I agree with superchargeg to me it sounds like valvetrain noise.

I just inched on him from a few 4th gear pulls, 6-speed and a minimum of an exhaust on it, not sure what else though.
