Do Z's have a dropping resistor for the tranny fluid pressure? Us maxima hook up a WOT switch so when you floor it, it disconnects the resistor and causes the transmission to use full line pressure(much higher than stock when you go WOT). Been doing this for more than 5 years with success and probably the primary reason why my auto outlives most of other maxima auto's even at 300-400+wtq, and now with a transgo the shifts are instant, head snapping

I bought a AT w/transgo already installed from another member on the forum. I cant wait to get her back and see what all the hype is about

OP where is the video you promised us???

Oh and I dont mean to steel the spot light from the transgo mod but any updates on this:

Looks like their "torque management" is still in beta but it seems to work really well based on a little experimentation at my end. I need a trans fluid pressure gauge to really document it though.

I would contact Vince at R/T tuning. He seems to have the most experience with this. It would appear that quicker upshifts result in slower downshifts for some reason... Perhaps this isn't a true V/B replacement solution.
