80 Mph is about 3275 with this ring and pinion.
60.6 mph in 6th is 2475 RPM

There are about 50,000 more mustangs on the road. Compaired to other cars this custom ring and pinion is right in the ball park.

Honda S2000 is $950.00
Comptech final drive for NSX $1600.00
Porsche .......$1500 would be a great deal

That's not bad at all. About how much of a % would the speedo be off with these gears. The reason I never changed the gearing on my bike is because it throws the already high % error off even more and I'm too lazy to wire in the yellow box.

FYI the digital speedo on the Z seems to be pretty acurate. I had mine set @ 74mph on cruise control and got pulled over by a cop asking why I was doing 74mph in a 55mph. I only got a warning so it was cool, but I was actually surprised that the speedo was that accurate. Many vehicles are usually off by a few %.

Speedo is not affected by this modification as speeds are taken form the wheel speed sensors/ABS sensors.

Just a quick note....this mod can be used on the 6 speed G35 sedan/coupe as well. I recently installed a 350Z KAAZ LSD and factory axle flanges in my sedan and everything fit like stock.
