Default Having issues with my 2004,Tranny?

Its a 6pd ,so whenever i accelerate the engine would rev up but the car would not speed up to match the rpm. So like i'm on the freeway in 6th gear, I'll apply the gas, the rpm would hit up to 3-4k but the vehicle would slowly climb up. This i freaking me out, I'm hoping its no the tranny. The car has 75k miles so the warranty on the tranny is gone.PLEASE HELP!

yep........your clutch is slipping...

to test your clutch, just go down an open road at about 25mph, get into 4th gear and accelerate, if the rpms rise and the car doesnt "catch" and accelerate then your clutch is slipping...

from your description, thats really spot on for a clutch slipping!...

being that your clutch is already doing this now so much, you will need a new clutch kit..

There are plenty of flywheel- clutch combinations that will suit your needs.

Well from my understanding, if it slowly rises compared to what it should be accelerating at then its toasted. My was slipping clutch as like that. I kept driving it and my clutch literally slipped all the way where it stopped engaging. The slipping where the clutch was able to grab and accelerate kept getting worst.

It means that the clutch friction surface is not holding the flywheel.
