Will the god of 350z's help me..
I have a 2004 350. I thougt i had a rod knock. it didnt seem like one because when i would rev the engine the knock would quit. It only knocked at idle to about 3g. I pulled the engine out. When i had the engine out i only removed the plentum and the oil pan. I replaced the rod bearings one at a time torquing them as i put the bolts back together. When installing the engine i made sure the flywheel was on the correct way. Now that the engine is back in the car is throwing two codes (p0011 P0021) vvt codes. I have an extra engine so i replaced the vvt selinoids and still have the codes. I have checked all my connectors. on the entire engine over and over and i can not figure out what i did wrong. I have read that it could be the flywheel and cam sensors. which i have replaced already. I am running 10w30 engine oil and it is not low. Also it could be a cooling issue? does anyone out there know what i can do BESIDES getting ripped a a nissan garage? even a real service manuel would be greatly app. Im 20 years old. I bought the car myself and right now i cant afford much with the budget im on. plese someone help me. my car is running like a turtle.
