Someone took the Pathfinder/QX4 valve covers I tried before and modified them to fit. They want $900 which is absurd considering junk yard pieces are $50-$70.
Don't know how they modified the coil packs to seal on the surface because they did not seal when I tried it and 1 coil pack was different with an elevated mounting surface.
Their description and pics.

So who here had those installed since it was on a twin turbo 350z? Were the coil pack mounting surfaces modified?

The 350Z never came with anything but black plastic valve covers. The stock valve covers have non-replaceable spark plug seals but ours have replaceable valve cover gaskets and spark plug seals so they will never have to be thrown away due to leaks. The stock OEM valve covers are $265 each. But we charge $450 each or $900 a pair for these. They come fully polished with new seals and gaskets installed.
Take a close look at the oil filler cap. The valve covers are designed to be seen so the stock front engine cover is no longer used. We machined a new filler housing for the oil cap to go onto. These are made from 6061 billet aluminum.

Andre, I followed your thread about aftermarket valve covers, I don't know how they modified the coil packs. As for their cost, they probably went to Nissan and ordered the aluminum valve covers for >$265, machined and tapped the oil filler neck and coil packs then had the whole thing polished, $900 for locating and all of the machining and polishing they did to sell to someone else is reasonable IMO. BTW I don't own a set of these covers.

The thing about the Pathfinder and QX4 valve covers is that the spark plug tube seals NEVER leak once installed, no matter the age. So it's really good for turbocharged/supercharged VQs since there wont be any surprise vacuum leaks to destroy the motor.
I guess if someone plans on staying with the VQ35DE for a lifetime, it is a good deal.

you vent your valve covers to begin with (catch can , filters, etc) , so you never have to worry about surprise vacuum leaks from any valve cover.
