Default Input on Header(s) & Exhaust UPGRADE

Got a little extra cash and looking to buy a new Exhaust and Header(s).. I dont want my car to be too loud so im looking for a nice sounding somewhat quiet exhaust.. I am also looking for header(s) I dont have that much but I dont want something cheap.. any opinions..

Brands?
Links?
Advice?

Also, what should I have first? can i put headers with a stock exhaust?

please use the search man, this topic has literally been

in short, all exhausts, minus quality, will net very similar WHP so go with what sounds the best to you...don't do headers until you do cam work since you won't feel really any gains at all without it

Hey, I came across this thread and I was just wondering if you could tell me how to search.

Specifically, which search terms are the best to search by? Which will give me the best hp/$ gains? If I want to make a search sound good, how do I do that?

I am looking for an exotic search, but not too exotic. Do you like searches with lambo doors on them?

Finally, if my car knows how to search better than I do, should I let me car search and then tell me everything I need to know?

I love my new Z.

your gonna have to listen to exhaust vids local meets to find an exhaust tone specific to your needs. Iv been through 13. If u want a little hp and nice sound i always recommend Nismo. Terrific sound exp paired with either headers/hfc/test pipes.

I just wish that there were some sort of sub-forum that dealt with exhaust and intakes. Or, even intakes and exhaust...
