Jasons set up is like a switch. It's on or off. Slipping the clutch in stop and go traffic is a real b*tch. I couldn't take it and pulled it out of my car until Tilton finished the street version with an organic disc you can slip instead of the ceramic non slip version. Jason say's I'm getting old and threw it in his car.... and he loves it! Maybe I am getting old, but I don't want to fight my car, just drive it. The street version should be good for up to 400 RWHP, after that you will need the rally/race version to hold up to 600.

I have over 6000 miles on it now...

I still love, Starting in stop and go traffic now, I have goten used to it.

The only time I need to think about shifting with it is when I am going slightly up hill and the car will roll back. That is when it is easiest to stall..

Jason,

Saw you last Thursday night. I was there with my buddy in his GTI, I did not get a chance to check your car out. I plan on being there this Thursday, hopefully you'll be there.

Late,
Serge

any news since this last post?

Also
Jason-
Interested in buying a clutch/flywheel.
What kind of difference will I feel with a JWT Fywheel and Nismo Clutch?

If the Tilton Setup you have is a 10 what would this be in terms of difference in drive and acceleration?

street version is now available...

it rev's supper fast,

the clutch is still grabby but you can modulate it a little more... it drives like stock compared to the other version...

but gives you the extra performance gain of quicker engine response and more acceleration

THANKS!
So I take it the street setup is more effective than the Nismo/JWT combo?

You only said much x 7...

Add in all the Crawford parts minus the headers, and it's x 20!!!!

We finally got everything sorted out, holy crap this thing is fast... When I romp on it in first I take off much like I've seen Corvettes.

It is CRAZY wicked. Maybe we'll try videos this week.

The JWT package to me feels like stock... I really couldn't tell a difference! I'm sure if I drove it more, I might have... I more so noticed the clutch then anything.

However the Tilton is like something on this car has just opened up. Yes it is EXTREMELY loud, you will rattle like CRAZY at stops, people will ask if your car is ok... I just smile back!

This thing rips through your first two gears like you have a blower, and continues to pull hard through third... If you are seriously hardcore and looking for something honest... this is it!

It's weight and smaller diameter make this a wicked solution!!!
