Ok and how is the street clutch in camparison to teh Rally? Does it Slip somethig like stock?

Is it possible to do a Tilton Flywheel witha Nismo CLutch for a stock feel that still rips through 1 and 2?

the street will slip like clutch once you figure out how it actually works...

Tilton flywheel will only be used with 7.25" clutches...

I would love a vid....something. All this talk about being "faster than an SC" on a road course has me interested.

How about 1/4 mile...or 60-100 runs?

It sounds almost too good to be true.

Hi Jason, I was reading the posts about the Tilton 8lb clutch set up on your car. I have a 03 track with the following modifications:

Technos ECU Flash;
Injen RD Cold Air Intake;
350EVO Throttle Body;
Unorthodox Racing Crank Pulley;
Borla Headers;
Borla True Dual Exhaust;
Random Technology High Flow Cats;
JTW Fidanza Light Weight Fly Wheel & Clutch;
350EVO 3.9 Final Drive;
NISMO LSD;
NISMO Thermostat;

I do a LOT of track days and I would like to know what you recommend that I upgrade from the above list if I were to add a Super Charger? I want to be fast yet reliable.

The Z is really fast as it is now, and performs great. I want to take her to the "next level" What do you suggest?

The rest of the mods are below.

S-Tune Suspension Coil Over; S-Tune Anti-Sway Bars; Recaro Pole Position Racing Seats;

SSR Comp H 18x9 Front & 18X10.5 Rear; Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 265/35/18 F; Michelin pilot Sport Cup 285/30/18 R

Pagit Track Rated Brake Pads; DBA Slotted Discs Front, DBA Cross Drilled / slotted Rear; Goodridge SS Brake Lines

Nismo GT Titanium Shift ****; 350EVO Racing Harness Bar; Schroth Profi III 6 Point Harness x 2

350EVO Upper control Arms -1.5 degree; Stillen Rear Toe and Camber Arms; NISMO Finned Diff Cover; NISMO Front Lip; NISMO Side Skirts

I look forward to hearing from you!

Zippycar, I went to RA with the Alfa Club Oct 9/10 and also just got back from Putnam last weekend where my clutch plate blew up! I just order the Tilton this week.

Who did you go to RA with? I can't believe you're going to put a supercharger on that beast!!

Jason, any word on the bolts??

Was there with Speedseekers @ www.speedseekers.com They put on a really great event in April and October. The weather can get a bit suspect...see my thread at ZippyCar at Road America at:

http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/f...s=&forumid=23.

It was sleeting and raining the first day but on Sunday it was great! As for the S/C.... I am tired of looking at the back of Z06's. Road America is really for high HP cars. Speeds easily exceed 150+ mph in the straights with most Z06's and other high hp cars. Heck there was even a 500hp Covair there that was really sweet. I was pushing nearly 145mph in the front straight. Spooky, yet seductively fast!

Hey Jason... any ideas on the set up for a S/C on Zippy?

Zippycar, he's at SEMA until Friday.

I'll comment on your setup if you like.

The only thing I would add to your setup if you get a supercharger is a larger radiator. If you really wanted
to add extra umph, you could add the double carbon Tilton to your setup.

One more day until the Tilton is here!!

I would say just go with the SEMI- STREET version with the 2 cerametallic disc's... It will hold alot more then the supercharge will put out...

Just cant slip it that much but I do not think you will have a problem driving it... In the video I am driving with the SEMI-STREET setup... I wish I had that one in my car...

I came back from SEMA Early...

Hey Jason, did you send me the milled bolts or the factory bolts? The Tilton is arriving today and I need to know if I should have them milled.

Jason, so the street version should hold about 400 rwhp and the race version 600 rwhp, is it right to assume that the semi-street should hold about 500 rwhp or not? Also how much different is the semi street from the race, cause the price difference is huge.

Bolts are being picked up on Monday...

Street version we know will hold about 320 to the wheels as of now...

the 2 disc semi-street set up will hold 690 to the crank...

we have clutches that will hold just over 1000 to the crank...

i think the race set up you are refering to is the sintered steel disc set up... these will NOT slip at all and these are recomended for race use only...

We have 3 disc set up's and 2 disc set up's in stock if you dare
