Denso iridium spark plugs
Ok so I'm going to be ordering my vortech v3 in a week and while I'm installing it I was gonna change my spark plugs to the denso iridium. Now I'm thinking of getting them off ebay because you can't beat the price. Now when it says to make them one degree colder does this mean gap them differently or They come one degree colder? I have never purchased these before. Any info is appreciated
The heat range is not related to sparkplug gap. It has to do with length/thickness of the insulator around the tip of the spark plug. plugs with more insulation are the colder plugs.
I don't have any experience with the Denso plugs but really like the NGK Iridiums. They may be worth checking out

I just saw your thread now and when I read the title, I wondered if you were going forced induction and I was right.
Based on my experience with my TN turbokit, it is safer in regards to preventing detonation to go with the standard Nissan factory plugs as opposed to iridium plugs.
My kit was initially detonating and Tadashi from Technosquare was dignosing my car. I remember he was driving it, had a manual boost guage in his hands and he was pushing it and we could hear the detonating. He asked me questions such as the octane fuel I used, where I bought the fuel from, if I messed with anything near the wastegate and finally....what kind of spark plugs I used.
I told him I was using iridium plugs and his face automatically cringed and he said I needed to get my old plugs back on which I did. We did notice that the detonating decreased but was still present as we later found that due to some piping design, the kit was overboosting.
You may or may not experience the same problem but I have been told that for forced induction, it is safer to go with your factory plugs from the start.
Despite your desire for performance, maintaining the health of your engine/car is the highest priority or else those hot pugs will mean nothing.
