Default Valve Body upgrade?

I have an 5AT 04' Enthusiast with 65k miles. With most of the basic breathers/bolt ons.. Headers, y pipe, test pipes, exhaust, cai.. Etc. I am just wondering when is it best to do a valve body upgrade? Do most people wait until FI? Because I do plan to go FI in the future.

Thanks

Yes! Just trying to learn more about my vehicle! I did search and found a few threads that talked about which are the better companies that do the upgrade. But didn't find anything that said when the best time to do it is.

your car can be completely n/a or FI. Either way the vb upgrade is a huge improvement over the factory specs. I guess the only difference in the set up would be the amount of power in FI.

I've heard about the TransGo kit.

Where's the cheapest place to find one? And if I took it to be installed what type price am I looking at there?

Thanks
