the down pipe mocked up...doing full 4'' the whole way back from the turbo with an open dump off the wastgate...down pipe is heat wraped in black as well now

 

I know this is somewhat weird, but I'm interested to see how long your wastegate dump tube is. I've been going back and fourth on dump length and tone. I do know that sometimes a long dump tube can cause creep issues, but I think a longer tube will create less of a tearing noise and more of a loud engine like noise lol

 

i dont have the tube done yet, but my last on was only about 8" long...since the wastgate sits so low on the manifold on this setup, i cant see it being much longer

 

So stoked to see this thing done, going to buy a 2JZ when I can find one for a good price and have it sitting at home for the next year or so until I want more power. Total inspiration. Looks amazing so far man, can't wait to see vids of the startup!!!

Yeah, the performance scene here kinda tanked, its more about herra frush an ****. There is a good surge in classic JDM, there have been quite a few meets last year.

That would be cool if you moved back though!
