Default New clutch install - Now car slips and wont engage

I got an 04 with around 40k miles on it. Clutch went out so I order a JWT clutch flywheel combo and installed it myself.

Here is the guide I used:
https://my350z.com/forum/engine-driv...wt-clutch.html

Problem is now that everything is back together the car drives worst then it did before. When the clutch is about half way up the slip lights starts blinking. If I let the clutch all the way up the car will stall (regardless of how slow Im releasing it). I also hear some noise that sounds like its coming from where the tranny attaches to the engine.

I read the guide at least 20 times and went over and over it again and have no clue where I could have gone wrong. Its on jack stands right now and I am about to take everything back apart. Any idea what it could be?

Maybe the slip light comes on because the car is up on stands and the front wheels aren't turning when you let the clutch out.

i dont know
What details do you need?

As I let off the clutch the car barley moves(clutch half way) and then it will stall(clutch 75%). At about 60% is when I hear the noise.

Possible on the light. I didnt notice the slip light till after I put it on the jack stands. But when I had it on the street it still sound like crap and wouldnt engage correctly. Something is still wrong with it.

Would it be possible to have messed up my transmission somehow? Even though all I did was change out the throwout bearing and move it to the side.

Need more detail, but the lights engaging make me think you didnt align the flywheel to the dot....the flywheel only goes on in one location only........if you didnt align the flywheel then lights and all kinds of jerky motions will happen......it will feel mechanical in nature, yet its the computer jerking your car around..

post 2 of my thread u linked........are you absolutely sure you did this!!??

and why didnt you just take your car to acidjake75???

You didn't by chance install the clutch disc 180 out did you? The center (spline) piece on the clutch disc usually has a longer nose on one side. If you installed this nose towards the flywheel, it might be causing these symptoms.
